Sefer — your neighborhood food circle

Sefer — your neighborhood food circle

Join or start a Sefer group with people near you (within ~2km). Sefer groups can also run an Equb — a rotating savings round where members contribute and take turns receiving the pooled payout, the traditional Ethiopian way.

Gursha Chain

Received a Gursha meal from someone? Pass the generosity on — claim it, then start your own chain by treating the next person.

Win while you wait

Spin the Gebeta daily, scratch surprise cards, build order streaks — plus 15% off-peak ordering and neighbor bundle discounts.

Search by voice — in your language

The app speaks English, Amharic and Tigrinya — search for dishes by voice, hands free.

Negat — order tonight, eat tomorrow

Pre-order next-day meals at a discount — ready exactly when you want them.

Built for Addis connectivity

Offline-first design, a home-screen widget, and tiny data usage — because data plans are expensive.

Currently onboarding founding restaurant partners across Bole, Kazanchis, and Sarbet.

Understanding Tsom (fasting) mode

During Ethiopian Orthodox fasting periods (Tsom), many people eat only plant-based (vegan) meals — no meat, dairy, or eggs. Addis Bites' fasting filter instantly shows only dishes that qualify, so you never have to guess from a menu description. Not fasting? The same filter is just a fast way to find great vegan Ethiopian food.
